Honestly, my experience at SDFC hasn’t been great. They seem to prioritize certain groups over others, especially team players. One time, they literally removed all the badminton nets where around 22 people were playing just so 4 girls could skate. That didn’t feel fair at all. Also, they’re frequently out of equipment, which gets frustrating if you’re planning your workout or game. On top of that, the volleyball courts are basically unavailable most days because of fixed practice schedules men’s team on Mon/Wed/Fri and women’s on Tue/Thu. It just feels like regular users don’t get much access compared to organized teams.

Overall experience is good. During campus run, it’s crowded with students. On break pool, gym hall 1 , these facilities are closed. Be careful and avoid crowded times like 5-7 pm. It’s definitely a lot of peoples.

My review is based on a week I came for summer labs: Monthly rates are greatly priced for students. There are ample weights and squat racks to choose from. My friend and I were able to complete our workouts within the hour without having to wait for machines to open up. Staff was really friendly, and all gym members were very courteous amongst one another. I'm sad that I was only able to use it for a week, but I really enjoyed using the facility!

The facility is huge! Very spacious, nice. I really want to try the group fitness classes to get a better idea but overall the location is good
